We use third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Shopify analytics) to understand Website use. These providers may collect information such as IP addresses and browsing behaviour. Their use is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. 

We are not responsible for external websites linked from our Website. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk. 

6. Outdoor Activities Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk 

Content on this Website may reference outdoor recreation and extreme sports. By using the Website, you agree:

The following terms apply specifically to purchases made through our online Store.

When purchasing through the Store, you agree to provide accurate and current account, billing, and shipping information. We may refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including suspected fraud. 

9.1 Product Descriptions & Accuracy 

We make every effort to describe our products accurately (including children’s books, outdoor guides, apparel, and merchandise). However: 

  • Colours, sizing, or design details may appear differently depending on your device or screen. 
  • Product descriptions, illustrations, or images are for informational purposes only and may not be exact. 
  • Rocky Tales Inc. does not guarantee that product descriptions or other content are complete, reliable, or error-free. 

9.2 Availability 

  • All products are subject to availability, and we may limit the quantity of items available.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue or modify products at any time without notice. 
  • If a product becomes unavailable after purchase, we will issue a refund or offer a comparable replacement. 

9.3 Digital & Downloadable Products 

For digital or downloadable content (e.g., e-books, guides, lesson plans, digital media): 

  • Purchases grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your own use. 
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or share digital products without permission.

9.5 Merchandise & Apparel 

If we sell branded apparel, gear, or merchandise: 

  • Sizing charts are approximate and may vary slightly. 
  • Care instructions are provided where applicable, and failure to follow them may void return or exchange eligibility. 
  • Merchandise is intended for casual or lifestyle use and is not designed, tested, or guaranteed for safety purposes in outdoor activities. 

9.6 No Safety Guarantee 

  • Rocky Tales Inc. does not design or sell safety equipment. 
  • Apparel, accessories, or merchandise are not substitutes for helmets, protective gear, or certified safety equipment. 
  • We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use—or misuse—of our products in outdoor, extreme, or recreational activities. 

9.7 Pricing & Modifications 

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

10. Pricing & Currency

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes and shipping fees. Prices may change without notice.

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods listed at checkout. By submitting payment, you authorize us (or our third-party processor) to charge your selected method. 

12. Shipping & Risk of Loss 

Orders are shipped to the address provided. Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon shipment.
